May 2025 Update

Hey Reader

Welcome to your first monthly update about all things wuhcag and web accessibility.

Wuhpdate (Wuhcag Update)

Following on from the launch of my latest book and email course, I've started to update my evergreen newsletter with the latest content too.

You may see this change first hand if you're working through my weekly posts about each guideline. Every email (there are almost 100 of them) is getting a design update too, to make them easier to read.

After the emails, I plan to fully update the website as it's gotten a little forgotten about while I've been writing. I have found a new Wordpress theme that looks like a good start to customise in time up to Level AAA (if we can).

Every book sale helps me keep working on the website and if you're in the mood just a single sale would pay for a year of a new theme.

Around the World Wide Web

The big event this month was, of course, Global Accessibility Awareness Day. This takes place every year on the third thursday in May to raise awareness about accessibility.

Here are some articles I enjoyed this month:

I hope you've enjoyed this new style of update. Let me know what else you'd like to see from Wuhcag too!
